To access Elkron Cloud for the first time, simply register on the Elkron website www.elkron.com and fill in the installer form. Through a single sign-on, the installer can use the same details – in total security and confidentiality – both to download the technical documentation included in the reserved area of the site (otherwise not available for consultation), and to register and manage their systems on the ‘Elkron Cloud’ portal.
The technology partner chosen for Elkron Cloud guarantees high standards in terms of speed, connection stability and service continuity. Encrypted data on the network are maintained in regularly audited European data centres that have been certified for high environmental standards (ISO50001), compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and ISO/IEC27000 information security management system standards.
From the cloud, you can access the Elkron Academy, the portal where you can follow courses and technical update tutorials on the Medea multifunction system.
The installer who entrusts control units to the Cloud will be able to maintain complete control over his systems, selecting between model, connection status and update level. The control units installed and connected through the Internet to Elkron Cloud are registered in a special reserved area. This is where it is possible to archive the configurations, save the master data of the systems, and obtain information on their geographical distribution. Through the Cloud, the efficiency of the systems can be monitored at any time, similarly, installers can be notified of technical events from their installations. Particularly interesting is the possibility of configuring and programming a new virtual installation, and then afterwards proceeding with the real installation of all the devices.
