IILS-1 device is an intake smoke detector that uses a sampling piping network to convey air into a high-sensitivity point-contact detector housed inside the control unit. Using a piping network allows protecting a wider area with respect to traditional point-contact detectors. They can be configured with up to three alarm levels depending on the specific application. A high-efficiency suction system and a set of flow sensors ensure the proper air flow. ILS-1 is an autonomous device that can signal fault and alarm events through a relay with voltage-free contacts. Such contacts can be then moved to a control and signalling unit.
